Hey there, I’m Brooke Ü
What makes food “good”?
With a passion for sustainability, public health, and local eats, I strive to make eating with your values accessible and easy.
For the past five years (through FoodCorps, and UNH Extension), I’ve been helping others understand what good food is to them. I’ve taught about nutrition, cooking, food shopping, but most of all… how to build a good relationship with the foods we eat.
While the foods we eat are partly due to our personal choices… built environment and food policies dictate our food relationships too.
My current research through the Dao Research Lab at the University of New Hampshire is investigating how perception of food access, the built environment, community engagement, and food policy intertwine.
Check out my blog and connect with me on social as I challenge my own understanding of the food system, and propose systemic solutions.
Forever on the mission of “finding gÜd food.”
